Chania Airport is small and easy to navigate, offering a pleasant atmosphere. We passed through security quickly in the morning with no waiting time. The staff were friendly, and the cleanliness of the airport was impressive. Everything is well-signposted, making it easy to find your way around. The Duty-Free section is compact but well-stocked. Overall, it was a smooth and satisfying experience for our return flight!

Thank you very much for letting us on our flight even after we almost missed it. We appreciate the staff at the gate "reinstating" our seats after they were cancelled from the flight and the bus waiting on us. Sorry to everyone... it was presumably because of us that the flight was delayed 15 minutes 🥹

We had a good experience, got through security just fine, the shops 🛍️ and 🍴eatery looked good, clean🧹 etc. 🚗 Car rental return 🪑The seating area gets packed as it gets closer to boarding time though. 🛫Planes board outside 🚌You will take a shuttle to the hub if you fly into Athens Overall, we had a good experience

Everything till passport control was great . After security check was something unreal . For me looks like airport staff have no idea what they doing and how need to organise they job . Who been there probably knows what I mean . We been waiting a bus just for move us from waiting area till airplane , that's around 20 meters away . Why they don't make a footpath for that , save money and save peoples nerve system as well 🤭.

A very disappointing experience at the end of my holiday. I had a wonderful time in Crete, but my experience at Chania Airport when returning to Belgium completely ruined the trip. I was stopped without any clear reason, subjected to an intrusive check, and asked to unlock my phone. The staff were extremely aggressive, shouted at me, and treated me with no respect or explanation. What disturbed me the most was that the only people being targeted for these checks were visibly of African or Middle Eastern descent. Sadly, it felt like blatant discrimination, and I still don’t understand why I was treated this way. It’s a real shame because the region itself is beautiful, and the people I met outside the airport were warm and kind. But this experience at the airport left me shocked and with no desire to return. It’s completely at odds with the welcoming image Greece is known for.
